Performance

I consider myself a musician first, and in my journey with music technology, musical performance was my first love. Though I started on percusion in concert band, my musical interest really blossomed when I started playing guitar. I now consider guitar and bass my primary instruments.

Production

I was very involved in my tech theatre classes in highschool, where I built sets and ran audio for our plays. In my Senior year, we replaced our Machie 32 channel mixer with a new Behringer X32 digital audio console, and a whole new world of possibilities opened up to me. Graphical EQs, mute groups, and scene changes were some of the new features that truly excited me. I decided at that time that I wanted to develop audio technology as a career.

Composition

In highschool, I released two albums of original compositions - Maiden Voyage and Luminescence. I also wrote a 40-minute composition for an original play called Amilia The Brave. There are no words in Amelia The Brave, only pantomime, shadow puppetry, and music to tell the story. Amelia the Brave went on to win multiple awards at the Atlanta Fringe Festival in 2014. Later, in college, I was part of a jam-band called The Deluge.
